Why Kaya Exists

Kaya started from a personal experience. A period of chronic stress that led to symptoms I couldn't explain — poor sleep, bloating, fatigue, brain fog, and more. Like many people, I went through cycles of trial and error. Trying different solutions, without real answers. Until I discovered a different way of understanding health — one that looks at the body as a whole: the Functional Medicine approach.

That experience changed everything. But it also showed me something else: That this kind of support is not accessible to most people. And even when it is, it can be overwhelming, expensive, and hard to sustain.

I decided to get on a path to solve this. I enrolled in the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy and became a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCHC). After learning about the coach approach and learning from leaders in Functional Medicine, I realized the real problem lies in sustaining change. Most of the time, we know what we need to do. We just struggle to stay consistent.

Kaya was born to change that.
